*Yawn* Haven't been to the movies in awhile, though I did see Gran Torino not too long ago on DVD. It was a great film, being one of the best 10 films of '08, and nominated for several golden globes and academy awards, although for reasons unknown, it did not recieve a single award. It stars Clint Eastwood in it, an American actor known for his westerns and Dirty Harry films, as well as some war movies. He is also known for his cinematic directing, his most famous being Million Dollar Baby. Clint Eastwood is the director of this film. In this one, Clint Eastwood plays a racist ex-Korean War veteran living in an old urban neighborhood who has become completely detached from friends and family since his wife died. Now old and dying of Lung Cancer, the only thing he has left to value is his Gran Torino, a car he himself built from nothing. That changes when a young Asian kid gets caught up in a gang initiation, which involves stealing his prized car, forcing him to intervene and teaching this kid what it truly means to be a man, while he finds in himself redemption for his sins. A coming of age drama film with dark overtones and tense moments. You'll definitely want to watch it over and over again just for the amazing storytelling and cinematic excellence. -------------------- Movies are for entertainment. What entertains you?

The last film I saw was Babylon A.D. I just recently watched it on DVD. It was a really good movie, till the end. I like the actor Vin Diesel. The ending SUCKED!!!!! The ending left too many things open and the ending came too quick as well. But it was action and the main character was played by Vin Diesel, so it's ll good. I recommend it to those who like action movies.

The last movies that I saw were Twilight Eclipse (yeah yeah I know). Putting aside the fan girlness of the movie then only part I liked was the battle scene with the Vampires and Wolves battle the rough Vampires. Another movie that I saw was the A-Team. It was awesome! The ending was a bit dumb but the movie as a whole was great. What I liked about it was that when they would go over the plan of what they were about to do it would but to the scene showing them acting out the plan then they would go back to when they were making the plan and explain it more and so on and so forth. Since I know what I typed was confusing it basicly went like this. They would say part of the plan then cut to them acting out the part of the plan that they just discused. Still think the way I explained it here was confusing. Oh well guess you'll have to see the movie to find out

The last movie I saw was Taken. Main character played by Liam Neeson.
It was a super movie. Don't want to spoil anything, so I will say only this: "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I've acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you. I will find you.....and I will kill you."
